Send Ilhan Omar back to Somalia

President Trump has made many controversial statements; mostly on Twitter.

This recent Trump quote ignited a firestorm with the media in regards to Ilhan Omar and “the squad:”

“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” he added. “Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”

However, when it comes to Ilhan Omar and her outrageous statements like this one, she seems to get a free pass from the media.

Ilhan Omar was born October 4, 1981 in Mogadishu, Somalia. Somalia is located in the horn of Africa and has a population of around 14.3 million. 99.8% of the population is Muslim! Islam is the state religion. Islamic Sharia governs the country’s legal system.

How does Somalia, a Sharia governed country, treat its women? According to Amnesty International, Somalia is one of the top four worst places in the world for women. Also, see article from The Guardian back in 2011. Somalia is considered the 5th worst place in the world for women.

Rand Paul chimed in on Twitter not long after Trumps remarks with this:

"I'm willing to contribute to buy her a ticket to go visit Somalia and I think she can look and maybe learn a little bit about the disaster that is Somalia," he said. "And then maybe after she's visited Somalia for a while, she might come back and appreciate America more."

On August 1, Ilhan Omar tweets:

They said “send her back” but Speaker @SpeakerPelosi didn’t just make arrangements to send me back, she went back with me.

Only one problem, Ms. Omar. You went to Ghana, Africa. A country that is 85% Christian. Why didn’t you go back to 99.8% Muslim/Sharia Law Somalia?

Maybe its time we send Congresswoman Omar back to her homeland so she can get perspective on how good we have it here in the USA.

Liberty, limited government, Christianity, capitalism and the right to bear arms. America became the most powerful and desirable place in the world because of these beliefs. Why would we want to ruin that? So we can become like other godless countries with a weakened economy?

We can’t let this happen. Stand with our president and let’s send Ilhan a message she absolutely can’t ignore!
